We are a registered charity that raises money to directly help men, women or children across the UK who have cancer.
We help cancer sufferers who are in hospital, in hospices and in their own homes.
We have no administration costs and therefore every pound we raise goes directly to the people we support.
We generally provide support that cannot be provided by the NHS
To raise £1million so that we can help as many cancer sufferers as possible
To increase the profile of Brown Dog across the UK to increase our membership and fund raising capability
To receive positive feedback from the people we support confirming the difference we made to their lives.
For Brown Dog to continue to flourish in the next generation, by introducing new blood and ensuring youth is represented on the Trustee Board
It’s only when you’re hit by a life threatening illness like cancer that you really appreciate how precious life is.
It’s only when you can’t even climb the stairs when your chemotherapy kicks in that you understand that good health is everything in life.
It’s only when you get cancer in your life that you find out how precious your family is and you discover who your true friends really are.
It’s only when cancer hits you, your family or your friends that you really appreciate the value of charity groups
It’s only when you get involved with a charity group that you experience the kindness and generosity of so many people and see first hand how their donations can buy things that really make a big difference to people who really appreciate it.
